Diastole: Midlife Women’s Retreat
A Ketamine Assisted Therapy Retreat
January 8-10, 2026
Nine Mountain Retreat Center (Plainfield, MA)
Diastole:
Within the ever-present rhythm of our heartbeats
there is an essential pause when the heart rests, expands, and refills.
This is an invitation for midlife life women to join us for a cozy winter weekend to rest, reflect and refill our hearts. In our time together, you will experience two ketamine assisted journeys, as well as movement, meditation, writing, and community. We will reflect on this sacred time in our lives and explore how to mindfully move forward.
So often as women in our society we are asked to give without being replenished. Midlife is a time to pause and honor what we have accomplished and the wisdom we have gained. It is also a time to acknowledge and grieve the losses that come as we move out of our youth, including physical changes and doors that may have closed.
Now is a time to explore what we need to live our fullest, most authentic lives, and to take ownership of our futures.

About Nine Mountain Retreat Center
Nestled in the heart of the Berkshires, Nine Mountain Retreats offers a warm, welcoming sanctuary where nature and community support deep reflection and growth. In late spring, the landscape is especially beautiful, with verdant woods, gentle hills, and quiet trails perfect for walking, wandering, and gentle hiking. The grounds also include a soothing outdoor hot tub, offering an additional space for rest, warmth, and quiet integration. Nourishing, wholesome meals are prepared on-site with care, supporting body and mind as we rest, explore, and reconnect. (https://ninemountain.com/)
Who This Retreat Is For
This experience is for women in midlife who feel called toward healing, renewal, and reconnection—whether you are navigating a life transition, tending wounds, or sensing the stirrings of something new within you that wants space to emerge. No prior experience with ketamine or psychedelic work is required. All journeys are held within a structured, therapeutic, and carefully supported framework. To support emotional safety for everyone, this retreat isn’t suitable for those currently experiencing psychosis or significant psychiatric instability. People with trauma histories are absolutely welcome. At the same time, this gathering is not designed for working with recent or overwhelming trauma memories. If you are hoping to engage in trauma processing, we would be glad to talk with you about settings that can offer the depth of support that work requires.
