Who we are

The Luminous Collaborative is a group practice integrating medical and therapeutic expertise for ketamine-assisted therapy retreats and intensive programs. Our team brings together a physician with 30 years experience in internal medicine, palliative care, and medical ethics, alongside two psychotherapists with deep expertise in trauma recovery, grief processing, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. All three practitioners are trained in ketamine-assisted therapy and grounded in somatic practices and mindfulness, creating a uniquely integrated approach where medical safety, therapeutic depth, and embodied wisdom work together. We weave together evidence-based therapies, yoga, mindfulness, and creative expression to form safe containers for transformative healing. We honor the wisdom of both body and mind, guiding individuals and groups toward greater wholeness, resilience, and connection to their inner light.

Rachel Lovins, MD is a triple boarded physician, death doula and personal coach. She specializes in internal medicine, palliative care, and ketamine assisted therapy. She has over 25 years of experience as a physician leader, medical ethics specialist, and educator. She shifted gears towards this work after experiencing first hand how life changing psychedelic assisted therapy can be. She is dedicated to providing non-judgmental, compassionate, whole-person care, and to facilitate the relief of total (physical, emotional and spiritual) suffering. Her goal is to help clients find joy and live their fullest most meaningful lives at any stage of life.

Alison M. Rhodes, PhD, LICSW, EdM is a therapist specializing in trauma healing and the integration of psychedelic experiences within depth-oriented care. Grounded in Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and narrative therapy, and informed by over twenty-five years of practicing and teaching yoga, Alison brings a holistic approach emphasizing embodied awareness, parts work, and meaning-making. She values collaborative, compassionate therapeutic relationships and meeting inner experiences with curiosity, safety, and care as a pathway toward healing and wholeness.

Maggie Jarmolowski, LICSW, is a trauma specialist, consultant, and facilitator with over 20 years of clinical experience, integrating Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and somatic approaches. She has worked with individuals and groups across the U.S. and internationally, and is deeply committed to the transformative power of group work, where healing unfolds relationally and momentum builds collectively. She is especially drawn to ketamine-assisted therapy for its ability to gently loosen long-held patterns and invite clarity, softness, and renewed aliveness into places that have been difficult to reach.
